Twenty Seven Steps is situated upstairs on beautiful New Regent Street. The unique, heritage space formally housed ‘The Coffee Pot’, one of Christchurch’s first restaurants. We set up our restaurant in the style that we like to eat – hearty, flavoursome meals, created from well sourced ingredients,
 that don’t need explaining. Our wine list is predominantly local, made up of wine we love from people we love.

We are fortunate to have been acknowledged across the board at the Christchurch hospitality awards since opening in 2015 and made Cuisine Magazine’s National top 100 restaurants since 2017.

a great place for your group

Twenty Seven Steps is available for functions/group bookings.
We can hold up to 75 people in our dining room, with the end room able to be sectioned off, to hold a maximum of 40 people.

Private group lunches are available by request. We operate with minimum spends,  rather than hiring fees. The liquor licence is from 8am until 1am.

We also have a small bar downstairs and a licenced outdoor area.
